We are honored to have spent time with Legendary Drummer/Innovator Roy Burns for his first Drum Talk TV Interview. Roy began his career at a very young age playing with Woody Herman and Benny Goodman, having moved to New York on the advice of Louie Bellson. Roy is credited for conceptualizing what we know as the “drum clinic,” invented the tilt screw under the lower hi-hat cymbal and co-founded Aquarian Drum Heads.
