Founding Foghat member Roger Earl joins us on Drum Talk TV. He is the ONLY band member to be in every incarnation of Foghat. This interview was right after a gig at the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas and was filmed in Frank Sinatra’s old dressing room (If the walls could talk!)
Roger and Dan chat about Roger’s influences, his beginnings with Savoy Brown and the long career of Foghat. Roger gives us the inside scoop about the legendary “Foghat Live” album from 1977– Dan happens to have his copy with him to show Roger the photo that changed Dan’s perspective on “Rock Stars”; they do a gear run-though, Roger Talks about the importance of “practice, practice, practice” and knowing your rudiments, shows how he warms up before a gig, and of course, a Roger Earl “Fun Fact!” (or two!)
